Gilded Buffet: Grey & Gold

Last week I painted a gorgeous buffet for my client, Shannon.  She bought the buffet about a year before she had a house for it!  (Sounds like a girl thing to do, amiright?)

Shannon’s vision was something elegant with metallic accents and we spent some time discussing ideas before we settled on the perfect finish.

Amy Howard One Step Paint: Understanding the Greys

When you need a neutral and are tired of white, you reach for grey, right?

I frequently use neutrals on my painted furniture, and LOVE grey.  I was especially excited when I found out that Amy Howard created 8 different grey tones in her One Step paint.  Wow.  (By the way, there are 52 One Step paint colors!)

For April I have two Paint Your Piece classes.  This coming Saturday, April 11th and Tuesday, April 28th.  (They are both held at Palmetto Home & Garden, 2422 Laurens Road in Greenville.)

You bring your own small piece (I recommend a lamp, small side table, chair, stool or home decor item), pick out your paint color and completely give it a makeover in class.  You leave with a brand new piece of furniture!
