About Me

Somewhere in the chaos of daily living is your little nest in the world.  The twin French architectural pieces you snagged for your back porch make the peanut butter wall smudges and piles of laundry…well…real.

This is after all, your home.

But it’s also your creative outlet and there are a hundred ideas swimming around in your head.  You want to do it all now, but, you know…money, time and know how.

Like, the perfect grey for your dining room walls still eludes you.

Your grandma’s antique dresser that you wanted to paint for your baby’s room is shoved in the back of the garage. (And now that baby is 5!)

Because sometimes you get stuck. Or need some inspiration.

Here’s where I can help.

I’m Mary, and Wren Willow Designs is the place where I help nurturing women creatively express themselves at home.

As the owner of a furniture painting business since 2013 and Amy Howard at Home retailer, I’ve helped hundreds of women with their furniture makeovers, paint projects and design do-overs.

Whether you need help getting started, a few quick pointers or step-by-step guidance, my online video tutorials (coming soon!) and informative blog content can help you express your creative self at home.

AND if you want to know a little bit more about me:

I’m happily married (since 1989) with three grown kids.  Being an empty nester is awesome!

I cried for like…two years when my oldest left home.

I was sad for like…five minutes when my youngest left home.

My husband and I have the traveling bug and think it’d be cool to restore a vintage camper and travel the US.

That is, if we can take time off from the farm we want to build.  (Decisions, decisions!)

I’m a nurturer at heart and I’ve always expressed that through my home.  (So I get you!)

I love cooking for my friends and family, making homemade gifts, strong coffee (or delicious wine depending on the time of day), meeting new people, the thrill of the junk hunt, spontaneous weekend getaways, growing things in my garden…

And I appreciate you, dear fellow lover of home.  Thanks so much for visiting and be sure to stay awhile!
